Tea mocktail recipes to keep you cool in pregnancy or when breastfeeding

Keeping cool is hard at the moment.  Especially if you're pregnant!

And if you are also cutting out your favourite cocktails, we thought we'd make some alternative tea mocktails for you - alcohol free but still delicious.

GET UP & GLOW SPARKLER

This sweet, sparkling fruity hit, is a perfect punch substitute!  We're tempted to make a pitcher of it and enjoy alone at a paddling pool party...

50ml sparkling water

Juice of 1 lime

5 Mint Leaves

1 teaspoon honey or agave syrup

Method:

Put the kettle on to boil

Add 2 Get Up & Glow tea bags to your favourite mug.

Add the boiling water and leave to brew for 10 minutes.  Remove the tea bags and stir in the honey or agave until mixed in.  Allow infusion to cool.

Then add plenty of ice to your serving glass. pour the iced tea over, top up with sparkling water.  Garnish with lime wedges and mint.

FINAL PUSH MOJITO

The classic minty, lime combination with a hint of sweetness and raspberry leaf too... oh so refreshing!  Suitable from 32 weeks, it's the perfect way to prepare for labour in the heat.

A sweetly zingy, citrus hit.  You can swap soda water for lemonade if you like it super hot, but we recommend it without!

50ml soda water

Ice

Slice of lemon

Rosemary sprig

Brew the tea bags in your favourite for 5 minutes, then strain.

Tried the get up and glow sparkler and it was gorgeous. Just wish I had mint leaves but I’ll try again with them soon. Just waiting for the morning rescue teabags to arrive and then I’m going to try the morning rescue G and Tea! Can’t wait. I’m a week off trying the raspberry leaf tea though. These are a beautiful life saver during the warmer weather, especially when you’re pregnant. Thank you so much for sharing x
