How to brew the perfect iced tea
The perfect iced tea is easy, cooling and delicious on a hot day. You can whip up a jug in no time, then sweeten it, or infuse it with the flavourings of your choice.
Here’s everything you need to know to brew the best iced tea:
Hot Brew
Hot brewing is a great option when you want to make something quickly, for immediate consumption.
Simply brew your tea in the same way you would if you were planning to drink it hot, then cool it down as quickly as possible by adding ice, and topping up with cold water.
BEST FOR: when you’re short on time, or you want to dissolve sugar or honey in to the drink before chilling. Perfect if you are making our No-jito recipe, as it contains brown sugar, and adding whilst hot will allow it to dissolve, to give a more balanced sweetness.
