HotTea Mama x Kick Start Coffee: Supporting Girls’ Education Through Radiant Roast

At HotTea Mama, every cup we create is designed to support women through life’s many stages. But for us, wellbeing goes beyond what’s in your cup - it’s also about the wider impact we can make together.

That’s why we’re so proud to partner with Kick Start Coffee, who supply the coffee used in our Radiant Roast Decaf Coffee. Not only do they share our commitment to quality and sustainability, but they’re also dedicated to creating meaningful social change.

Through this partnership, every cup of Radiant Roast helps support an incredibly important initiative: providing essential period products and hygiene supplies to girls in developing communities in Uganda.

Access to basic feminine hygiene products is something many of us take for granted. Yet for girls aged 10–18 in these communities, a lack of period products can mean missing school, falling behind in their education, and experiencing a loss of confidence during an already vulnerable stage of life.

Together with Kick Start Coffee, we’re helping to provide 65 girls a month with essential supplies including period pads, soap, razors, and deodorant. These items do more than meet basic hygiene needs—they help preserve dignity, support self-esteem, and enable girls to attend school consistently without disruption.

Alongside these resources, the girls meet monthly to learn about self-care, menstrual health, and hygiene practices. These sessions encourage open conversations, build confidence, and equip the girls with knowledge that will support their health and wellbeing long into the future.

This is about more than products - it’s about empowerment. It’s about ensuring young women have the tools, education, and confidence to stay in school, pursue their ambitions, and shape their own futures.
