We designed Milk's Up to support you as much as possible given that we know how difficult nursing can be. It is a caffeine free blend or natural galactagogues, that have been used for millennia to support women's milk supply.

These ingredients have a long history of natural use - fenugreek, fennel, nettle and anise, have been blended with rosemary and lemon verbena to create a delicious cup of tea with benefits.

TEA TASTING NOTES

Sweetly savoury, with notes of aniseed balanced by rosemary and lemon verbena.

Dark notes, of warming caramel from fenugreek, and herby hints of nettle, combine with sweet anise and citrus lemon verbena for a unique flavour profile.

It is definitely the most complex tea in our range, and becomes more-ish - make sure your partner doesn't start drinking it all!

Whilst you may want to, we don’t recommend adding milk or sugar. However, we won't judge!

How to brew

Add one bag to a 300ml cup.

Brew for 3-5 minutes, and we don't advise adding milk (this isn't ironic!)

Don't throw your tea bags away after your first brew - as they use whole leaf ingredients, you can infuse them twice.

Pack Size

6 x 15 whole leaf, plastic free tea bags.
100% biodegradable - put them in your food bin for the most efficient way to compost.
Brew each bag twice or more - one bag can be used to make 30 cups of tea, or more.

I tried so many nursing tea brands. This is by far the best. Absotlutely delicious, plastic free, and it works. I used from 37 weeks and colostrum harvested really effectively. I still drink it 4 months on and intend to bresatfeed for atleast 12 months.

Frequently Asked Questions

Can I drink Milk's Up Breastfeeding Tea while I'm pregnant?

There's no need to start drinkig Milk's Up too early in your pregnancy, but we do recommend drinking it and harvesting colostrum from 37 weeks.

It can be a brilliant support for hand expressing colostrum, as it will keep you hydrated and support you with natural galactagogues.

Research into fenugreek has shown that it can take 24 - 72 hours to have an impact (everyone reacts differently) and as it can take a similar amount of time to establish milk supply, it can really help support you.

Your midwife can advise on the best techniques for expressing milk, but it can give you great confidence to know you have some 'liquid gold' in the freezer once your baby arrives. Establishing your baby's latch can be tricky, so knowing that you have milk supply is a brilliant thing!
