Morning Rescue is a tummy soothing blend of whole leaves of lemon verbena, lemon balm, African mint and lemongrass combine with pieces of root ginger.

These ingredients have all been used for millennia to support happy tummies. It is believed that their benefits link to the gingerols in the ginger, and citrals in the lemon-y ingredients that are both anti-inflammatory.

Get Up & Glow is great when you need a boost but caffeine is off the menu, this zingy fruit tea helps you get up & glow. Bursting with tropical flavours, it will have you energised and glowing in no time, whether you're pregnant or not.

Grapes are used as the base of this tea blend. This means that along with vitamin C, you also get a gentle natural sugar lift. It's the perfect way to replicate caffeine in the healthiest way possible.

Each Get Up & Glow whole leaf tea bag makes 1 cup of tea - leave the bag in if you like a stronger brew.

Each Morning Rescue whole leaf tea bag can make 2- 3 cups of tea, depending on your personal taste.

Morning Rescue & Get Up & Glow
1. Use 1 whole leaf tea bag in a 300ml cup
2. Pour freshly boiled water over it
3. Brew for 3-5 minutes, depending on your taste. Each Get Up & Glow tea bag makes 1 cup of tea - leave the bag in if you like a stronger brew
4. Morning Rescue - remove bag from cup, and keep in a small dish (or egg cup!) by your kettle
5. Re-brew your bag, and just leave it in the cup for a little longer
6. Relax and take a moment with your cuppa.

We don’t recommend adding milk, but a drop of honey or lemon can be a good match.

Is Get Up & Glow a good alternative to caffeine?

Like the fresh fruits that they’re made from, the fruit in our Get Up and Glow blend have lots of health benefits. They contain a variety of minerals, vitamins and antioxidants. The grapes, hibiscus flowers and rosehip peels, all contain vitamin C which will help your immune system and help to protect you picking up colds – horrific in pregnancy.

The natural, low levels of sugar that naturally occur in the fruit infusion will also give you a pick up when you need it, without flooding your system with sugar.

Rosehips contain a variety of antioxidants; carotenoids, flavonoids, polyphenols, leucoanthocyanins and catechins, as well as 50% more vitamin C than oranges, an excellent immune booster.

Likewise, hibiscus is high in vitamin C and antioxidants. A trial In 2009 studied hibiscus’s ability to support cholesterol maintenance, this time in people concerned with healthy blood sugar levels. Sixty subjects, mostly women, were given either one cup of hibiscus tea or black tea twice per day. After one month, hibiscus was able to help maintain total, LDL, and HDL cholesterol levels — as well as triglycerides — already within a healthy range.* Black tea, on the other hand, only impacted HDL levels. Is the Lemongrass in Morning Rescue suitable for pregnancy?

Studies have shown that the essential oil, citral, can have hugely beneficial effects in easing nausea, after it is inhaled regularly for 2-4 days. This is a key component of lemongrass and why it is recommended as a tea or aromatherapy treatment if you suffer from nausea.

If you google lemongrass and pregnancy, you may read that it is dangerous. However, this is not true. It is unfortunately based on poor research. There have been many studies that have shown that lemongrass definitely has no toxic impact on pregnancy.
